What cookies do we use?
When a user visits a website, small pieces of data, called cookies, can be stored on the user's computer by the website visited by the user or by other websites. On each subsequent visit, a copy of each cookie is sent back to the website that stored the cookie.
Cookies can be classified according to their origin:

- A third-party cookie is stored by a website other than the website visited by the user.
The EVLambda website only uses first-party cookies.
Cookies can be classified according to their lifespan:
- A session cookie is deleted when the user logs out or closes his or her browser.
- A persistent cookie is deleted at a date and time chosen by the website that stored the cookie.
The EVLambda website uses session and persistent cookies.
Cookies can be classified according to their purpose:
- A strictly necessary cookie is essential to the proper functioning of the website.
- A functionality cookie remembers a choice made by the user.
- A performance cookie collects anonymous data about the way the website is used.
- A targeting or advertising cookie collects data about the user, usually for marketing purposes, usually across multiple websites.
The EVLambda website only uses strictly necessary and functionality cookies.
An inventory of the cookies used by the EVLambda website is available at the bottom of the page.
